How to Download from MovieLinkBD — Step by Step

The whole process is four steps and needs no account, no subscription and no payment.

1. Open the live site — use the button on this page. It always points at whichever MovieLinkBD address is responding right now.
2. Find the title — search by name, or browse by language, genre or section. Search is usually faster if you know what you want.
3. Pick a quality — see the quality guide if the labels are unfamiliar. 720p is the safe default.

When a link will not open

Subtitles do not appear

On an ESub release the subtitle track is selectable in the player — enable it there rather than looking for a separate file.

Before you start: storage and data

Check free space first. A 720p film is usually under a gigabyte, a 1080p one is a few, and a full season at 1080p can run past ten. Phones that are nearly full will fail a download close to the end, which wastes the whole transfer. The quality guide has the size ranges per resolution.

On mobile data, 480p exists for exactly this reason. On a phone screen the difference from 720p is small, and the file is roughly half the size.

Why there is more than one server

Each download page lists several servers carrying the same file. They exist for redundancy, not variety — if one is slow or busy, another will not be. Nothing is lost by going back and picking a different one, and there is no need to restart from the beginning of the site.

Speed differences are usually about the route between you and that particular server at that moment, not about the file. A server that was slow yesterday may be the fastest today.

Use a download manager

Casting from a phone works too, but re-encodes on the fly on many setups, which drains the battery and can stutter on 1080p. For a full film, the USB route is more reliable.
